With more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications, McGavock brings a wealth of knowledge focused on connecting the right message with the right audience at the right time. Her clients look to her for expert counsel and tactical execution for a multitude of activities—from crisis communication, reputation management and messaging to media relations, internal communication, and social media marketing.
McGavock has worked with well-known brands across a wide range of industries, including those in biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer products and more. She listens to client business goals, identifies audience insights, and helps create a path to connectivity and success.
She also co-leads operations at E&V, driving excellence in client service and nurturing colleague growth and development.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, McGavock holds her accreditation in public relations, is a two-time PRSA Silver Anvil winner, and has served on the Southeast District Board of the Public Relations Society of America. She is a past president of the NC chapter of PRSA and sits on boards of directors for number of regional non-profit organizations. An Eastern North Carolina native and mom to a college junior, she resides in Raleigh, NC with her husband, Jeff and their Springer Spaniel, Birdie.
