Anna-Marshall Wilson

Anna-Marshall has a passion for work that matters, studying issues from every angle and helping clients navigate through the clutter to support their business goals. She joined the Eckel & Vaughan team as Public Relations Account Supervisor in 2014 and was promoted to Account Director in 2018. Anna-Marshall has expertise in public relations, public affairs, media relations, and marketing.

Anna-Marshall is skilled in keeping coalitions of diverse groups with differing agendas on-message; building and activating advocacy networks; and executing strategy-driven client campaigns with just the right media mix. From the Wall Street Journal and the hometown gazette to social media and word-of mouth, Anna-Marshall helps clients tell their stories to the right audiences at the right time.

Anna-Marshall comes to E&V from Capstrat, where she provided comprehensive communications support including grassroots, grasstops, and media relations for a range of clients, including Lenovo and Pearson Education.

Prior to Capstrat, Anna-Marshall worked at Ketchum Public Relations in Washington, D.C., where she provided support for several public affairs and social marketing clients, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

She is just as passionate about the profession as she is about public service. Anna-Marshall is an active volunteer in the community and currently serves on the Southeast District Board of the Public Relations Society of America, as well as the board of directors of the North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA). In addition to her current role as assembly delegate, Anna-Marshall is a former NCPRSA president and has served on the board in various capacities for eight years.

Anna-Marshall graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communication from North Carolina State University. She resides in Raleigh with her husband, Charles, and sons, Charlie and Ford.
