Road-Tripper. Book Lover. Fighting Illini Alum.
A Chicago native transplanted to the South (with nine years in New York City in between), Cindy Sellars brings more than 15 years of experience in public relations and marketing to E&V. Cindy spent the first half of her career executing national publicity campaigns for several New York Times bestselling authors while at well-respected publishing houses Algonquin Books and Viking Penguin. Once she moved South, she served as marketing manager at The Splinter Group in Carrboro, North Carolina where she oversaw the implementation of strategic integrated marketing campaigns for national B2C clients, local arts organizations, nationally franchised restaurant brands, and several locally owned Triangle businesses.
Cindy graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in English. Outside work, you can find her browsing at her favorite indie bookstores or reading the latest debut novel on her front porch in Carrboro. A supporter of local literacy initiatives, Cindy has served on the boards of the Orange County Literacy Council and the Crook’s Corner Book Prize Foundation.
