Mary Wesley works closely with E&V colleagues to craft social media strategies, produce media relations content, conduct stakeholder research – and more — for a wide array of clients. She leans into her mix policy experience to help inform communication tactics that will help move the needle in public affairs efforts. Having kick-started her career advocating for Medicaid expansion in the North Carolina General Assembly and later with the Office of First Lady Kristin Cooper, she has a passion for navigating complex issues and driving impactful change.
An eastern North Carolina native, Mary Wesley is a proud alumna of Meredith College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and communication with concentrations in public affairs and public relations. Following her internship at E&V during her final semester at Meredith, she transitioned into a full-time role with the agency.
Outside of the office, you can find Mary Wesley playing pickleball, escaping to Atlantic Beach for a weekend, or searching for the best sweet treat in Raleigh.
