Ellie Nye

As a senior project specialist, Ellie aids Eckel & Vaughan’s public engagement team with her research, client coordination, and more. Her communications background fuses a rich history in both the public and private sectors, allowing Ellie to leverage those valuable experiences and competencies for the immediate and lasting benefit of our clients. Ellie’s engaging, creative, and intuitive nature make her an easy and constructive partner in any assignment.

Ellie comes to Eckel & Vaughan with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Wake Forest University. While an undergraduate student, Ellie also worked as a tutor for student athletes. Her previous positions at another multistate communications firm, as well as one of the State of North Carolina’s largest and most complex agencies, equip her well for her role at Eckel & Vaughan.

A Raleigh-Durham native, Ellie enjoys spending time with friends and family, participating in the Duke University Chapel choir, and exploring new places.
